Leeds mystery writers Frances Brody and Chris Nickson discuss the art and craft of murder mysteries – and probably a little bit of Leeds history too!

Frances’ new book is Death of an Avid Reader, set in the 1920s around the Leeds Library on Commercial Street and featuring her heroine Kate Shackleton.

Chris has recently published Gods of Gold, the first in a new Victorian series set in Leeds in the 1890s against the backdrop of the Gas Strike, featuring Tom Harper.

Both authors will also be reading from their work and signing copies of their books which will be available to buy on the night.

Come along, meet the authors and ask your questions. Refreshments are available. This is a free event, no ticket required.
