Writing about music is like writing about economics

The Leeds Big Bookend and Roundhay and Oakwood festival present Writing about music is like writing about economics with Chris Nickson, Rob Endeacott and Peter Mills.

Can you really write about music? Is it possible to capture the essence? Both Peter Mills (Hymns to the Silence: Inside the Words and Music of Van Morrison) and Rob Endeacott (Peaches: A Chronicle of the Stranglers: 1974-1990) have published books about musicians. Listen to their experiences and put your own views in a panel chaired by novelist and long time music journalist Chris Nickson.

Come along, meet the authors and ask your questions. Refreshments are available. This is a free event, no ticket required.
