Explore the Contemporary Gothic at Leeds Lit Fest 2023

As part of Leeds Lit Fest 2023, we are bringing you 4 events exploring the Contemporary Gothic – all in one day! Join us on Saturday 25th February for a delicious exploration of all things uncanny, horror and just plain weird.

Workshops with Lucie McKnight Hardy and Dan Coxon explore the Uncanny in short fiction and how to weird your fiction so that you stand out from the writing crowd.

There’s a panel event with a stellar line up of award-winning authors. Mark Morris, Alison Littlewood, Lucie McKnight Hardy and Dan Coxon look at why we still love scary stories in The Language of Fear.

We wrap up In Conversation with Award-Winning Modern Horror Author Catriona Ward  ( Sundial, The Last House on Needless Street and Rawblood) who will be talking to Dan Coxon about her latest novel Looking Glass Sound due out in April. You’ll be the first to hear all about it direct from Catriona!
