Shortlisted for the Saboteur Awards 2017! Please Vote for Our Remembering Oluwale Anthology

We are absolutely delighted that our Remembering Oluwale anthology, published by Valley Press last year, has been short listed for the Saboteur Awards 2017. A huge thank you to all of you who nominated the anthology but now we need you to vote for us again, please, so that we can win the Best Anthology category. Voting closes on 30th April.

You can read the longlist and the shortlist here (they make a great reading list!).

You can vote for us in the Best Anthology category (no. 8) here.

Why should you vote for us? Well, in the words of the anthology’s editor, SJ Bradley, “David Oluwale was a man who could so easily have been forgotten – at the time of his death, the only official records left about him were the arrest records left by the police who victimized him, and papers from a psychiatric institution. It’s testament to the resonances of his story, that so much wonderful and powerful writing has come about and continues to do so. Please vote for Remembering Oluwale.”

You can find out more about David Oluwale from the David Oluwale Memorial Foundation.
