The First Ever NoShoSto Book Club!

It’s the first meeting of the NoShoSto Book Club on Tuesday 25th September at The Doghouse Bar and to celebrate we thought we’d start with one of Leeds’ finest contemporary writers, Clare Fisher.

Clare Fisher‘s debut collection of short stories How The Light Gets In  “cements her position as an innovative literary talent,” according to the New Statesman.

The Book Club is led by writer Ali Harper (The Disappeared, Killer Reads).

The reading group is fun, friendly and free to everyone. No booking required just turn up at 5.30pm, Tuesday 25 September at The Doghouse Bar and then every Tuesday from 2 Nov. Please note, there’s no Oct Book Club.

Full details are on the Facebook page.  We hope to see you there!

The NoShoSto Book Club is part of The Northern Short Story Festival and Leeds Big Bookend, and is supported by Arts@Leeds and Leeds City Council.
